The Little Lost Angel
By: Deep Shadows
To A-san, the sister I was born to have.

Dreaming of a paradise she longs for
Dancing in a field of mist in the twilight
Twirling, spinning as the fog pushes away from her
Her haphazardly held together skirt flaring as it billows away from the smoke
With the look and the smirk of a Cheshire cat she falls to the ground
Breathless in the field, for a moment she wasn’t thinking,
All thoughts let their grips loose of her
The only thing coming from her was laughter
Pure joyous laughter
Adding mirth to the starry night
Standing to the ground and looking about with a wild-eyed gaze
She dashed off, deeper into the fog,
Becoming a shadowy nymph lost in the darkness of time
Searching for a paradise she may never find.
This is a poem for my amazing little sister :iconautumnwings: A-san.

It was inspired by a foggy 3 am walk when she dashed into the fog and began to spin, laughing like a child. BAM it was poem time.

Toodles,
Deep Shadows

You captured a special moment, of a special person, and gave us all the chance to feel a childlike freedom for a few minutes
